Primary and intermediate school promotion
School students around the country have the opportunity to take part in the most memorable football tournament New Zealand has ever seen!
The Local Organising Committe (LOC) will be providing students who attend schools in the four host cities - Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch - an opportunity to attend the opening round match featuring the teams they will be studying in the curriculum programme we provide to schools. Here's exactly what the school offer includes:
- Special entry price to the opening match of $5.00 per child - (teachers and supervisors attend FREE)
- Educational resource kit for all schools involved, provided by the end of term three
- Module related to learning about countries of teams playing in your city
- Wall charts to promote ongoing interest in the event
- 'Adopt a team' initiative for schools and students
- Football ambassadors (players who have attended one of FIFA's World Cup events for youth, men and women) to visit your school assembly

NZ Football 'Friends and Family' ticket promotion
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) is offering football players a series of unbeatable early ticket offers to the New Zealand Football community.
This special package deal (the NZ Football Membership package) is open to members of NZ football clubs (and their friends and families) around the country.
For just $20 for kids (under 16) and $30 for adults, footballers and their family and friends will be able to attend four match days including all pool games at each venue plus quarter finals in Hamilton and Wellington, semi finals in Christchurch and the Opening Ceremony in Auckland. Tickets for the Final at North Harbour Stadium can be additionally purchased by the NZ Football community for $15 (adults) and $10 (kids).
And to top off the great prices, - For every 10 packages purchased the purchaser will receive one free package
- Those who purchase on their VISA card will also go into the draw to win an amazing 40-inch LCD TV from Sony valued at $3,299
Clubs are also set to benefit from your support through the following incentives on offer: Two Club VIP tickets will be given to Clubs for every 50 packages sold (four for 100, eight for 200etc) - If 50 or more packages are associated with a Club, we will rebate that club 10% of the ticket price - what a great (and real easy) fundraiser!
- If 1000 or more package sales are associated with a Club, in addition to the 10% rebate, that Club will go into the draw to win $5,000 cash from Visa - now that's an even greater fundraiser!
These offers will be open from the start of the season until 31 August 2008 and only to members of NZ Football clubs and their friends and family. Promotional posters and ticketing brochures will be distributed to clubs in March in order to be handed to club members at the start of the season.
Ticket brochures with order forms will be available through your Club within the next few weeks.
